C.W. Smith’s goal is to hand-select each inventory item in its country of origin. By doing this we can stand confidently behind each piece and unconditionally guarantee them to be authentic and as described.

Naples, FL:          Monday-Wednesday and Saturday   10am to 6pm (Summer, to 5pm)
                           Friday                                            10am to 9pm (Summer, to 5pm)
                           Sunday                                          12pm to 5pm (Summer, closed)
Minneapolis, MN:  Tuesday-Saturday                          10am to 5pm

Shipping
Prices quoted by the galleries do not include packing and shipping charges. We maintain a list of qualified shippers with experience in handling museum quality furniture and artifacts. We will be happy to provide you with their quote for these services. Note: C.W. Smith ships throughout the United States and increasingly to Europe and South America.
Payment
We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express. If you prefer a wire transfer we will provide the necessary information. We also accept checks drawn on personal and business accounts and can ship the related orders when they clear.
Returns
It is common for customers to make an investment in items they have not personally viewed. In recognition of this C.W. Smith provides a one-week (seven-day), after-receipt, approval period. If the buyer feels the item is not as described it should be returned immediately for a full refund (exclusive of packing, shipping and insurance). If C.W. Smith has not received the article within two weeks (fourteen days) of the customer’s original receipt of the item the sale will be considered final. We require the condition of pieces returned to be the same as originally shipped. Please pre-pay all shipping and insurance charges. International orders are not returnable.
In-gallery “hold”
For a number of years we have followed a practice of reserving (setting aside) items in our galleries for serious buyers. We are extending this gallery “hold” policy to our internet customers. The hold period is forty eight hours. Please discuss your specific interests with the galleries.
